The correct pronunciation is extremely important to practice communicating in English. It helps improve your listening skill, and also helps communicate more confidently. With the desire to assist learners in improving communication skills, GOGA introduces you to a few useful tips to distinguish the most confusing English sounds.
Distinguish pairs of confusing sounds

Learning to distinguish between sounds with similar pronunciations will help improve your learning process. Commonly confused pairs include /s/ and /z/, /ei/ and /ai/, /t/ and /d/, /f/ and /v/, and so on.
In everyday life situations, these pairs of sounds are difficult to distinguish. For example, consider the pairs /θ/ and /ð//. Consider how people will misunderstand the information conveyed if you pronounce “th” in the two words “thin” and “the” exactly the same, without distinguishing the pronunciation of /θ (thin) and /ð/ (the).
Although you may know the importance of correct pronunciation, the learning process is not easy. As a result, learners may be in need of an additional online app for English pronunciation.
